CLEVELAND — A center with the goal of providing more services to those who are pregnant is under construction.
The center, located off East 65th and Chester, will include four birthing suites, two exam rooms, medical team stations and a community center for workshops.
Birthing Beautiful Communities aims to address disparities in maternal and infant health throughout the area.
The organization is also looking to expand by introducing a new headquarters to provide further help to those in need in the future.
The land the facility will stand on was prepared by the removal of trees in August.
Construction is expected to be completed in 2027, with the center opening shortly after.
