Get doula training through BBC and become a Perinatal Support Doula (PSD) on our team! This position is a part time contractor position. This position will not replace fulltime employment. PSD Certification is REQUIRED before hiring. PSD Certification is different from basic doula training. Certification is Payment plans are available for certifications.
The Perinatal Support Doula will be a detailed, mostly self-directed and disciplined team member with a passion for birth equity, improving birth outcomes and supporting mothers during all perinatal stages. The purpose of this position is to ensure positive birth outcomes in the Akron and Cleveland community identified hotspots. This role requires training with little to no absences, some travel, and organization to insure time management and modeling for clients.
