Building Communities Through Babies

Labor Support Services

What is a Doula and Perinatal Support Person (PSP)?

A Doula is traditionally a woman who supports a pregnant, laboring mother. Our program expands beyond that definition. Some of us are doulas but all of us are Perinatal Support People. That means that we offer support during pregnancy, during labor and after the baby is born. We help you to achieve the birth and the life that you want by addressing some of the most challenging issues you may be facing.

Life and Goal Planning

Everyone wants to lead the best life they can, especially when a baby enters their world. Your PSP will assist you in developing goals and help you to plan so that you can reach your goals.

Support Groups

We offer support groups in the areas of:

Pregnancy Stress, Anxiety, Panic or Fear
Postpartum Depression
Infant Loss

Childbirth & Parenting Education

We want to teach our clients what it means to be pregnant, how amazing the pregnant body is and what to look forward to becoming a new mother. Childbirth is a natural process. You will learn about your child birth options, as well as what to expect during your 9 months of pregnancy.
